Currently, there are approximately 300 hectares of rice fields remaining. Local authorities and residents are reinforcing dikes and embankments, and continuing to monitor this area.

People proactively pump out water to protect their rice crops.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (Vinh Thanh commune) said that his family's 6.5 hectares of rice, planted half a month ago, are now flooded due to rising water levels. People are focusing on reinforcing dikes and have to use pumps 24/7 to drain the water and prevent flooding.
According to Pham Thanh Hung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Thanh commune, there are still 293 hectares of rice fields for the 2025 Autumn-Winter crop in the commune. These areas have already had their dikes reinforced to a height of about 30cm above the surrounding water level. Given the continued rise in floodwaters, the local authorities will continue to reinforce these areas to protect them.
Specifically for fruit tree areas, the local authorities have directed the Economic Department and the Agricultural Service Center to continue disseminating information and guiding people on protecting their crops through various measures. They are also instructed to regularly inspect the area and strive to protect the remaining crops for the people until the peak of the flood season.
Currently, floodwaters in the province are still rising, therefore, local authorities need to organize monitoring and standby forces to be ready to handle and respond to any incidents that may occur, minimizing damage to people's production.
