Attending the event were leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the commune, representatives of the leaders of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television and representatives of the sponsor Vietnamese Americans.
The delegation presented 200 gifts to 200 households in especially difficult circumstances, families affected by storms and floods, each gift included rice and necessities. The total value of 45 million VND was sponsored by Mr. Truong Quoc Dung, owner of Lam's Auto Group and overseas singer Ho Thai Ngoc, Dallas, Texas - Vietnamese American. Mr. Truong Quoc Dung is a native of Tuyen Quang.

In the recent storm No. 10, Xuan Van commune was one of the localities that suffered heavy damage. The flood caused 26 villages to be submerged, 247 houses and 3 cultural houses to be affected, 470 households to be isolated, more than 1,000 households to be urgently evacuated... causing hundreds of billions of VND in damage.
