Ca Mau - Ninh Binh signed a cooperation program for the period 2025 - 2030

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the twinning relationship between Ca Mau and Ninh Binh, on the afternoon of December 7, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province held a signing ceremony of the cooperation program between the two provinces for the period 2025 - 2030.

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of Ca Mau province, there were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Thi Nhung; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Van Bi. On behalf of the leaders of Ninh Binh province, there was Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung.

After nearly 4 years of implementing cooperation contents in many fields, Ca Mau - Ninh Binh has coordinated to organize more than 10 conferences and forums connecting supply and demand, attracting over 150 participating enterprises; signed more than 60 minutes of trade cooperation; supported bringing OCOP products of each locality into the distribution system of the two provinces; coordinated to test new production models of BL9 rice variety, male giant freshwater prawn farming model on converted rice land in Ninh Binh; organized many seminars and training courses on high-tech agriculture , climate change response; organized art exchange activities, tourism promotion, exchange of experience in organizing events; exchanged expertise, supported teaching equipment, cared for people with meritorious services, etc.

In the 2025 - 2030 period, the two provinces agreed to cooperate comprehensively and long-term, aiming to promote the potential and advantages of each locality, creating a driving force to promote sustainable development, meeting the requirements of the development process and international economic integration.

Accordingly, the cooperation contents in this period are investment promotion, trade and display, promotion of OCOP products; agriculture, resources, environment and marine economy; tourism and building symbols, cultural spaces; science, technology and innovation; health, education, social security.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province Lam Van Bi emphasized: The areas of cooperation signed this time are very practical, with strong complementarity between the two provinces, in line with the development orientation of each locality; at the same time, opening up a large and effective space for cooperation in the coming time. Ca Mau province identifies cooperation with Ninh Binh as an opportunity to learn and add new development values, especially in digital transformation, administrative reform, development of cultural and spiritual tourism products, linking product consumption and brand promotion.

Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, Lam Van Bi, affirmed: With a spirit of high determination, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province commits to directing departments and branches to promptly concretize the signed cooperation contents; create maximum favorable conditions for businesses and investors from Ninh Binh when coming to explore opportunities in Ca Mau; maintain a close coordination mechanism, periodically evaluate implementation results, promptly remove difficulties; at the same time, believe that with the foundation of 65 years of close friendship between the Party Committee, government and people of the two provinces, the new phase of the Ca Mau - Ninh Binh cooperation program will make a strong breakthrough, to together enter a new development stage of the nation with new spirit and new confidence.
