Recreating the glorious historical journey of the nation, the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi city) has brought a multi-dimensional experience space.

The exhibition helps the public feel the country's achievements over eight decades through the language of technology and creative display forms.

Taking place from August 28 to September 5, the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme “80 years of Independence-Freedom-Happiness journey” is the key activity in the series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, opening a journey to look back at the glorious milestones in history and achievements of the country in all fields.

The exhibition is also a reminder of the responsibility of each person today and tomorrow, in which values ​​are recreated through artifacts, documents, technology, and vivid experiences, bringing connection, affirming the everlasting strength of the ideal of national independence and socialism, contributing to spreading the spirit of creativity and the image of a renewed Vietnam.

Covering an area of ​​nearly 260,000m², both indoors and outdoors, the event gathered more than 230 booths from 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries and sectors, and hundreds of businesses, introducing outstanding achievements in many fields, from industry-technology, trade-investment, agriculture -rural areas, national defense-security, to foreign affairs, health, education, culture-sports-tourism. The rich scale and diverse participation created a comprehensive and unique appearance. The outstanding new feature is the strong application of digital technology, turning the exhibition space into a vivid interactive experience.

The highlight of the exhibition is the thematic exhibition space "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way", including unique sections, recreating the brilliant milestones of the Communist Party of Vietnam through 95 years of leading the Vietnamese Revolution to create glorious miracles, since the Party was born, leading the struggle to seize power, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, opening the era of "National Independence associated with Socialism"; conducting resistance war, building the nation to drive out French colonialists and American imperialists; rebuilding the country after the war, carrying out the comprehensive renovation of the country, promoting industrialization, modernization, international integration, building a prosperous, civilized, happy Vietnam, entering the era of prosperous development of the nation.

In order to spread the spirit of national unity and arouse the aspiration to build a strong country, the exhibition space has built an experiential journey through each important stage of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The combination of diverse forms of expression, from displaying artifacts, paintings, photos, documents, live stage performances to content supported by modern technology helps viewers easily access content according to topics. Most notably, the series of activities to educate about the Party's historical traditions and discussions are built with many attractive topics, conveying content about the Party in a close, easy-to-understand, easy-to-receive way, especially for young people.

The highlight of the exhibition space is the 3D online exhibition system combining real space, AI Chat and robots to guide, answer questions, and suggest more events and historical values ​​in a close and flexible way. The exhibition also applies a series of advanced technologies appearing for the first time in Vietnam such as interactive mapping books along with augmented reality and virtual reality technology to help viewers approach important historical moments of the nation...

Highlights of the exhibition are the three exhibition spaces of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and the National Assembly with diverse approaches converging. From glorious history to modern technology, from the task of protecting the Fatherland to the aspiration to create the future are clearly expressed in the language of technology, bringing the public impressive experiences. The indoor space of the Ministry of National Defense introduces 334 products including historical items, copies, restorations, images, weapons and equipment along with many products of the logistics-engineering industry. Five exhibition areas are associated with historical milestones, recreating the journey of formation, construction and development of the Vietnam People's Army, including an area dedicated to technology experiences, becoming a bridge to help history become closer and more vivid.

The exhibition space of the Ministry of Public Security chose an approach associated with contemporary life under the theme of “Creation and Development”, recreating the steps of refinement, application of science and technology and international integration. Interactive information stations help visitors gain a visual approach to the innovation of the People’s Public Security force.

Here, technology is not only for display but also for life, from testing digital citizenship, experiencing security applications, to exploring network security systems. A special highlight is the bomb disposal robot - a modern device made in the US that can replace humans in dangerous tasks...

In line with the exhibition of the country’s achievements, the exhibition area “History and Mission of the Vietnamese National Assembly” opens the journey of 80 glorious years by combining valuable documents and projection technology and symbolic display designs. The central circle “Imprints of the founding of the nation: Aspiration for democracy” recalls the first General Election in 1946, the birth of the 1946 Constitution and the image of President Ho Chi Minh and the National Assembly in the early days of the country’s founding after the August Revolution. Each circle continues like a chapter of history, leading viewers through each milestone to feel the process of formation, development and affirmation of the position of the Vietnamese National Assembly.

The technological imprints stand out in the exhibition spaces from military, security to legislation, creating an attractive display and affirming the role of science and technology in the process of building and protecting the country. The exhibition is a testament to the aspiration to develop Vietnam into a strong and prosperous country, bringing Vietnam confidently into the era of development.

At the Kim Quy exhibition building, the exhibition areas are designed according to each theme, creating a multi-layered exhibition structure. Localities, ministries, sectors and businesses join hands to contribute to creating the overall appearance of the exhibition, while still maintaining a distinctive mark. LED screen systems, 3D graphics, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and digital maps are integrated synchronously, leading viewers from the glorious history to the dynamic present and future aspirations. Most of the exhibition spaces exploit projection techniques, simulation design, and touch interaction to introduce achievements and convey messages about new development visions.

Each locality, ministry and sector is present with vivid exhibition spaces with typical symbols of culture and history, recreating the historical milestones of development associated with the historical stages of the country in the past 80 years. Most of the exhibition spaces apply digitalization in multi-level spaces, where light, sound and 3D mapping technology combine to create strong visual effects, feeling the dynamism, looking towards the future, affirming the position, consensus and determination to enter the era of national development.

Not only localities, ministries, and sectors, but also businesses have contributed to the modern appearance of the exhibition. The exhibition as a whole opens up creative experiential activities, reflecting the spirit of innovation and integration.

The Nhan Dan Newspaper exhibition area uses artificial intelligence (AI), allowing visitors to chat with virtual assistants, learn about press information and digital data. The Cinema Space introduces a digital film studio (Virtual Production) using 3D technology combined with robotic arms, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in virtual scenes, take 360-degree photos or film a short film themselves. This creative area quickly became a focal point for young people, where they can both explore modern technology and arouse pride in national culture.

Within the framework of the exhibition, in the space with the theme "Culture guides the nation", the exhibition area with the theme "Happy Vietnam" made its own mark. This is the result of a photo and video contest on the vietnam.vn platform, attracting more than 20,000 works from within and outside the country. 150 photos and 30 videos were selected for display around three themes: Happy Land, Happy People, Happy Moments. Combining 3D/VR/Metaverse technology, this space becomes a place where art, technology and emotions intersect.

An attractive point of the exhibition is the application of modern technology through 3D mapping and augmented reality (AR), visitors can explore the entire exhibition of 80 years of socio-economic achievements digitized, multi-layer digital maps of 34 provinces and cities, directly interacting with images, sounds and vivid digital space. All of this data is uploaded to the digital space through the vietnam.vn platform so that people around the world can experience it when they do not have the opportunity to visit the exhibition directly. Not only spreading the message of a happy Vietnam, the way the exhibition is organized has demonstrated the determination to innovate the way of communicating the country's achievements and national image.

The exhibition of national achievements “80 years of the journey of Independence-Freedom-Happiness” is a space connecting the past, present, and future, between patriotism and the desire for development, between traditional values ​​and modern technology and the stature of the Vietnamese people on the journey of preserving and promoting the values ​​of Independence-Freedom-Happiness.

At the same time, the exhibition “Nhan Dan Newspaper - Voice of the Party, State and Vietnamese people” was opened. With an exhibition area of ​​300m2 , the exhibition introduces to the public more than 500 documents, images and artifacts affirming the important mark and position of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the revolutionary press of Vietnam. The exhibition is organized into 6 parts: “The birth of Nhan Dan Newspaper - In the flash of bullets and bullets”, “Accompanying the country”, “Heart and pen”, “Red mark on the revolutionary journey”, “Experiential station” and “Transformation in the digital age”. The exhibition not only contributes to spreading the historical, political and cultural values ​​of Nhan Dan Newspaper in particular and revolutionary press in general, but also creates a media mark to attract the public, especially young people, to visit and experience.
