Nearly 400 businesses attend the Dialogue Conference in Lam Dong in 2025

On the morning of August 29th, the leadership of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee chaired the 2025 Dialogue Conference with Businesses. Nearly 400 businesses, domestic and foreign investors, credit institutions, and economic organizations in the province attended.

Comrade Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, Vo Ngoc Hiep and Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, presided over the conference at the Lam Dong province's flower-filled venue.

The 2025 Business Dialogue Conference, organized by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, will be held in both in-person and online formats with three connection points: Lam Dong - the City of Flowers, Lam Dong - the Blue Sea, and Lam Dong - the Great Forest.

In his opening remarks at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Ho Van Muoi, emphasized that this event was organized not simply as a dialogue, but also as a meeting for the government and businesses to share and better understand each other.

“With the spirit of “Businesses need - government exists, businesses have difficulties - government exists”, Lam Dong is always ready to dialogue with businesses. Where is right, where is wrong, both sides frankly share. Where is difficult, we solve it there. The ultimate goal is to go together, open up opportunities for each other to develop together”, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi shared.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that, after nearly two months of consolidation, despite facing many difficulties, Lam Dong province has initially achieved many positive results through great efforts. Currently, Lam Dong has many great potentials and advantages. The province has identified the main pillars for development.

The 2025 Business Dialogue Conference was held in person at the Lam Dong "City of Flowers" location and connected online with two other locations: Lam Dong "Blue Sea" and Lam Dong "Great Forest".

First, regarding the mining and renewable energy industries, Lam Dong province has very large reserves of bauxite and titanium. The province is on a development path and striving to become the largest aluminum industry center in the country.

In terms of high-tech agriculture , Lam Dong province is leading the country in this field. This includes approximately 500 hectares of land dedicated to flower cultivation by farmers and businesses. Furthermore, many of the province's agricultural products have significant value.

In terms of tourism, Lam Dong is developing very strongly. Currently, many new tourism models are attracting many domestic and international tourists, such as: farm tourism, resort tourism, medical tourism, etc.

The province has enormous potential and advantages. However, to fully realize that potential and advantage, the most important thing is for the government and businesses to work together. The government must create favorable conditions for businesses and investors to operate. Conversely, businesses must proactively overcome difficulties and accelerate the progress of many projects for the province.

"Let's spend our precious time sharing with each other. Difficulties, shortcomings, concerns, and aspirations must be voiced so that we can listen to each other and find solutions. From there, we can create new resources, a new momentum, and achieve new results," the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee instructed.

In the first eight months of 2025, Lam Dong province saw the establishment of 2,216 new businesses with a registered capital of VND 11,700 billion . The province also approved 37 new investment projects and issued investment registration certificates , with a total investment capital of VND 13,706.85 billion and a land area of approximately 673.71 hectares. Currently, the province has 2,934 active investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately VND 2 trillion . Of these, 235 are FDI projects with a total investment capital of VND 224,282 billion.
