The Ministry of Education and Training is holding a conference to announce the score distribution for the 2025 high school graduation exam before releasing the final results to candidates at 8:00 AM tomorrow, July 16th. This is a completely new approach compared to previous years, where the score distribution and analysis were only announced after candidates knew their scores for all subjects.
At the conference, Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuong, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, stated: "This is the first time the Ministry of Education and Training has organized the announcement of the score distribution in the form of a conference with the participation of numerous media outlets."

Regarding the score distribution analysis, only Literature is an essay-based subject, while the rest are multiple-choice. The score distribution analysis is conducted by a team of independent experts based on data submitted by the Departments of Education and Training to the Ministry of Education and Training.
Seven experts, including professors, doctors of science, representatives from the Department of Education and Training, and representatives from high schools, provided objective assessments based on the exam scores and score distribution provided by the Ministry of Education and Training. The Ministry of Education and Training provided complete and timely information to candidates and the public about the results of the first exam under the 2018 General Education Program reform.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, analyzing the exam results of candidates provides a basis for evaluating the quality of exam questions, the examination process, and teaching and learning nationwide. Analyzing the adjusted scores between exam subjects serves to support the evaluation of exam results for each subject.
The distribution of scores and the analysis of this year's score distribution are particularly anticipated by the public following numerous opinions suggesting that the exam questions for some subjects, such as mathematics and English, in the high school graduation exam were "too difficult." In response to these opinions, the Ministry of Education and Training stated that there could be many reasons. However, it is necessary to wait until the grading results are available before a clear assessment can be made.
