On the morning of April 30th, all 10 wards of Dong Nai City simultaneously held solemn ceremonies to announce the resolution of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the establishment of the following wards: Trang Bom, Long Thanh, Tri An, Nhon Trach, Tan Khai, Xuan Loc, Tan Phu, Loc Ninh, Dau Giay, and Dong Phu.

According to Resolution No. 237/NQ-UBTVQH16 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly , 10 wards will be established based on maintaining the natural area and population size of the corresponding communes and will officially come into operation from April 30, 2026.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly requested that, after their establishment, the wards should organize and stabilize the apparatus of agencies and organizations; stabilize the lives of the local people, and ensure the requirements for socio- economic development, national defense, and security in the area.

After the establishment of the wards, Dong Nai City has 95 administrative units at the commune level, including 33 wards and 62 communes.
