Nvidia introduces the RTX Spark "super chip".

Nvidia just announced the RTX Spark chip at Computex 2026 in Taipei, marking a major step forward in bringing AI power to laptops and PCs. CEO Jensen Huang said the product will "redefine the PC" after 40 years, as AI could replace the mouse and keyboard in computer interaction.

RTX Spark combines a processor and graphics chip, developed in collaboration with MediaTek, allowing AI agents to run directly on the device instead of relying on cloud computing. Dell, Lenovo, Asus, and HP will integrate this chip into Windows computers, ushering in an era of smart, thin, and lightweight yet powerful PCs.

Experts believe this is a strategic move for Nvidia to expand from the datacenter market to the consumer market. The new chip promises to transform computers into intelligent digital partners in daily life.

Sony FlexStrike and new gaming monitors

Sony has just announced a new line of gaming devices, most notably the FlexStrike arcade controller and the 27-inch PlayStation monitor. The FlexStrike will officially go on sale on August 6th for $199.99, coinciding with the release of the fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls . The product comes with a carrying case and rechargeable battery, supports PS5 out of the box, and PC support will be updated later.

The 27-inch PlayStation monitor will go on sale on August 27th for $349.99. It features an IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate for PS5/PS5 Pro and up to 240Hz with PC or Mac. Interestingly, the monitor has a DualSense charging dock on the back, offering convenience for gamers.

Additionally, Sony has confirmed that the Pulse Elevate speaker line will launch later this year, but has not yet announced the price. This is seen as a strategic move for Sony to expand its gaming ecosystem, combining hardware and audio experiences for the PlayStation community.

Android 17 Beta 4.1 unexpectedly appears.

Google has just released the Android 17 Beta 4.1 update for the Pixel line, surprising many as the company had previously stated that Beta 4 was the final test version. This is a small but important update, appearing at the beginning of June 2026.

Android 17 Beta 4.1 brings a series of small but useful patches for Pixel users. Google has fixed the bug where the status bar displayed "no signal" even when connected, and also fixed the issue where the cellular data icon in Quick Settings remained lit when airplane mode was enabled.

Additionally, the update addresses the issue of the external screen going black when selecting high resolution, improves Bluetooth audio routing to prevent sound loss after notifications or timers. Importantly, the bug that caused hearing aids to be forgotten from the pairing list after periods of inactivity or charging has also been fixed. These are key refinements that bring Android 17 closer to a stable release.
