A rural road project worth more than 10 billion VND was just completed and was washed away into the river.

The landslide occurred on a rural road in Long Dinh, Long Hung Ward, O Mon District. There is no initial report yet, but traffic on this road is temporarily cut off due to the deep, long landslide and the appearance of new cracks.

At the scene, the asphalt road surface collapsed and was completely damaged, and the ground was also washed away into the river running along the road.

Currently, traffic through the area has been warned of danger and the road has been temporarily closed to ensure the safety of people and vehicles. The authorities and local authorities have arranged and diverted traffic for other vehicles.

According to the Project Management Board and Land Fund Development of O Mon District, the project investor: The Long Dinh rural traffic route is still under construction, the landslide area has been completed by the contractor since the end of 2024.

The construction project to expand and upgrade the road with a total length of 4.15km and an investment of more than 10 billion VND, carried out by the joint venture of Trung Tinh Construction Investment Company Limited and Hung Thinh Phat Joint Stock Company, started in September 2024 and is still in the contract implementation period.
