The Thiềng Liềng hamlet has over 650 registered voters. According to reports, over 85% of voters fulfilled their civic duty by the morning of March 15th. Notably, many voters living in the mangrove biosphere reserve, with its swampy terrain and difficult access, still actively arrived at the polling station early to exercise their rights and obligations.
Residents of Thieng Lieng island hamlet expressed their hope that the elected representatives would listen to and reflect the thoughts and aspirations of the voters, and at the same time contribute to promoting practical policies so that this still disadvantaged area of the city can continue to develop in the future.

The polling station and voters performed the flag-raising ceremony at 6:30 AM at polling station number 4, Thieng Lieng island hamlet, Thanh An commune, Ho Chi Minh City.

The election committee brought the ballot box and ballots to the home of 85-year-old Mr. Tam Thanh, one of the pioneers in reclaiming Thieng Lieng island, to reject his vote of confidence.

Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huyen, Head of the Law Faculty at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, who left the city to settle in Thieng Lieng island hamlet and contributed to the development of community tourism there, shared her thoughts with the press on election morning.
