Voters recommend removing difficulties in arranging and assigning redundant staff after merging administrative units

At the meeting, voters of Luong Son district proposed that there should be solutions and mechanisms to encourage investors, attract tourism development in the district associated with preserving and promoting national cultural values, historical relics; remove difficulties in managing public assets, arranging redundant staff after merging administrative units; have policies to support ethnic minorities to participate in social insurance; have special mechanisms on investment and development for difficult areas of Luong Son district...

Faced with difficulties in mobilizing resources to turn Luong Son town into a town-level administrative unit by 2025, voters proposed investing in renovating National Highway 6 through Luong Son district, so that the town has an appearance worthy of an urban area; the Government should soon approve the Beltway 5 project, a 35 km section through Luong Son district, to promote the district's socio -economic development.

At the meeting, leaders of a number of relevant departments, agencies and branches, and the National Assembly Delegation of Hoa Binh province answered and clarified the opinions and recommendations of voters of Luong Son district. Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Committee Truong Thi Mai praised the outstanding results that Luong Son district in particular and Hoa Binh province in general have achieved in the past time; acknowledged and clarified the opinions and recommendations of voters, especially those related to the policies of the Party and State that are being organized and implemented but still facing difficulties and obstacles.

Ms. Truong Thi Mai requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to resolving voters' petitions. The issues that voters petition are under the authority of the Central Government. The National Assembly Delegation of Hoa Binh province will receive, take note of and comment on them at the upcoming National Assembly session.

Previously, on behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Deputy Head of the Delegation Dang Bich Ngoc informed voters about the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Hoa Binh province and the expected program content of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
