Khue My ward voters propose to promote the implementation of coastal tourism projects in Ngu Hanh Son

Voters of Khue My ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, made recommendations at the meeting.

At the meeting, voters of Khue My ward expressed high consensus and excitement at the socio -economic development results achieved by the Party Committee and people of the city in the first 6 months of 2024.

Voters expressed their opinions and recommendations on existing issues in the area such as: some roads in new urban areas have not installed traffic lights, causing traffic safety problems; there are no community centers in some residential areas; the city's priority infrastructure project on the domestic drainage system in Khue My and Hoa Hai wards has been under construction for a long time and has not been completed, causing environmental pollution and affecting the lives of people in the area.

Voter Nguyen Thi Minh proposed that the relevant authorities find a solution to eliminate the traffic black spot on K20 Road behind the City Maternity and Children's Hospital, as this is a dangerous curve, with frequent traffic jams and accidents. Voter Le Duc Thanh suggested that the city and Ngu Hanh Son District strengthen the management of construction units of sewers in the area to restore the site after construction, avoiding the situation of leaving rocks and soil lying around, causing loss of urban beauty and environmental pollution.

According to voter Pham Van Chi, the city needs to have solutions to promote the implementation of high-class coastal tourism projects in Ngu Hanh Son district along Truong Sa and Vo Nguyen Giap streets so that this "golden land" can generate effective profits for Da Nang's economy. At the same time, the Nan Viet A project should be handed over to local authorities for management to invest in infrastructure systems to serve people's lives.

“It is necessary to do better in political and ideological education work throughout the political system in conjunction with the content of Directive 34 dated October 27, 2023 of the Da Nang City Party Committee to make all organizations and people more aware of their role, position and importance in the current and future development of the city,” voter Pham Van Chi proposed.

Speaking at the meeting, delegate Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, said that at the mid-year meeting of 2024, the City People's Council will discuss and approve many policies that have a direct impact on people's lives such as: integrating ticket prices to visit all tourist attractions at Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot and reducing fees for subjects according to regulations; entrusting the City Social Policy Bank to lend to ministries, civil servants and workers in difficult circumstances; supporting smartphones for poor and near-poor households in the city...

The City People's Council will also hear reports on two monitoring topics in the first 6 months of 2024, including: the implementation of legal policies on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance in the city; the implementation of policies to support businesses in the city.

“These are important reports, which are the basis for continuing to propose and issue more effective solutions to better implement social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies for workers; and resolve difficulties and problems in the process of organizing and implementing policies to support businesses in the city,” said delegate Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.

Acknowledging and accepting all recommendations and proposals from Khue My ward voters, delegate Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that the delegation will synthesize and forward them to relevant departments and branches for processing, and respond specifically to voters as soon as possible.
