(NLĐO) - On December 6th, the delegation of National Assembly representatives from Ho Chi Minh City, constituency 10, and the delegation of City People's Council representatives met with voters in Hoc Mon and Cu Chi districts.
The National Assembly delegation included the Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Nguyen Thi Le, and Major General Phan Van Xung, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, along with other members of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council in charge of the unit.
During a meeting with voters in Hoc Mon district, many voters expressed their desire for the district to soon have a plan to renovate and dredge the heavily polluted Tran Quang Co canal.

Voter Tran Thi Phuc from Xuan Thoi Thuong commune requested that the People's Council representatives pay attention to proposing that the City consider and remove the mixed-use land planning restrictions so that people can change the land use purpose to build houses.
Voter Nguyen Thi Nga from Dong Thanh commune expressed her agreement with the National Assembly, the Party, and the Government's determination and decisive action to "streamline the organizational structure of the political system" ahead of the 14th National Party Congress.
According to this voter, streamlining needs to be implemented synchronously from all levels of government to mass organizations and associations.

Voters in Hoc Mon district also requested that National Assembly representatives propose that the Law on Traffic Safety and Order be amended to include young people aged 16-18 who are eligible to learn to drive two-wheeled vehicles, as they are now physically strong and capable of operating motorcycles, instead of continuing to drive without a license as they do now.
At a meeting with voters in Cu Chi district this morning, many voters requested that the city pay attention to and expedite compensation for residents to speed up the construction progress of the project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 8, ensuring its completion on schedule.
Voters in Cu Chi district have suggested paying attention to the adjusted land price list because it is too high compared to people's incomes.
Voters also requested that the city review the recently issued land price list because the high land prices affect the process of applying for land use conversion for people in suburban areas when dividing land among their children, as the conversion costs are high while people's incomes are not high.
Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Nguyen Thi Le, acknowledged the contributions and opinions of the voters.
At the two meetings with voters, on behalf of the delegation of National Assembly and People's Council representatives of Ho Chi Minh City, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Le received feedback from voters and requested that any suggestions related to compensation, land acquisition, and land use planning that affect people's rights be addressed by relevant departments and localities in coordination, and that information be made public so that people are fully informed.
"In the coming period, Ho Chi Minh City will focus on reorganizing and merging administrative agencies as required by the Central Government in order to streamline the apparatus and improve efficiency in governance and management," Ms. Le informed.
