Through local area surveillance, the commune police force discovered that Le Thanh Tu exhibited suspicious behavior and proceeded with verification. The results showed that Tu was wanted by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency on May 22, 2026, for the crime of "theft of property".

In addition, Tú is also being sought in connection with the act of "Sexual intercourse with a person aged between 13 and under 16 years old".
