Driven by her passion, Ms. Tran Thi Minh Thuy (born in 1989), working at Quang Nam Medicinal Herbs Joint Stock Company in Tam My village, Tam Xuan commune, researched and applied freeze-drying technology to produce Cody Milk original flavor yogurt. This idea won first prize at the Quang Nam (formerly) province's creative startup competition in 2024. Since then, Quang Nam Medicinal Herbs Joint Stock Company has begun producing "freeze-dried yogurt," and the product has quickly gained market acceptance.

Ms. Thuy shared that traditional yogurt, while very good for health, has a short shelf life and requires refrigeration, making it inconvenient for consumers. Wanting to create a more user-friendly yogurt product, she researched and applied freeze-drying technology. This process helps preserve the nutritional value and natural flavor of yogurt, and importantly, the product does not require refrigeration while retaining beneficial bacteria, protein, and other nutrients.

To produce its products, Quang Nam Medicinal Herbs Joint Stock Company uses raw milk, Rich cream, yeast, and packaging according to TCVN 7028:2009 - pasteurized fresh milk and TCVN 10558:2015 - condensed milk standards. The raw materials are purchased from reputable manufacturers and businesses, ensuring quality. In addition, the company has built a production facility with complete machinery and equipment such as freeze dryers, autoclaves, refrigerators, microbiological incubators, packaging machines, date printers, etc.

“Cody Milk freeze-dried yogurt” is packaged in 50g portions and priced at 50,000 VND per product. Each year, the company produces and sells approximately 7,000 products, generating revenue of 350 million VND and a net profit of around 88 million VND.

Freeze-drying is a new technology that preserves the flavor of the product and is very convenient for storage and use in the form of dry candies and pastries. This presents a good opportunity for Quang Nam Medicinal Herbs Joint Stock Company to expand production.

Currently, Cody Milk freeze-dried yogurt products are available in Da Nang city and neighboring provinces and cities. In addition to selling and showcasing products on-site, Quang Nam Medicinal Herbs Joint Stock Company also participates in introducing and selling products at trade fairs, specialized food stalls, and through social media platforms.

The immediate market positioning is in Da Nang city and neighboring provinces such as Quang Ngai , Hue, and the Central and Central Highlands regions. In the future, the company will expand production to bring the "Cody Milk Freeze-Dried Yogurt" product to the national market and aim for export.
