Police in Phu Thuy ward arrested 7 individuals for gambling for money.

On June 3rd, the Phu Thuy Ward Police (Lam Dong province) announced that they are continuing to consolidate the case files to prosecute the individuals for the offenses of "Gambling" and "Organizing gambling" in accordance with the law.

The Phu Thuy Ward Police are compiling files on the individuals involved.

Earlier, based on intelligence gathered in the area, at 5:45 PM on May 25th, the Phu Thuy Ward Police conducted an inspection and dismantled a gambling den operating under the form of dice games for money in Quarter 3 - Phu Hai, Phu Thuy Ward.

At the scene, the police seized numerous items used for gambling; detained 7 individuals along with 22.19 million VND and 4 mobile phones for investigation and verification purposes.

Initial investigations by the ward police determined that NTT (born in 1972, residing in Phu Thuy ward) was the person who organized the gambling den along with several other individuals. The case is currently under investigation and will be handled according to the law.

The Phu Thuy Ward Police advise residents not to participate in any form of gambling, especially online football betting; and to actively report any violations of the law to help law enforcement maintain security and order, and build a peaceful and safe area.
