Director of Vietnam National Tourism Administration Nguyen Trung Khanh presents the Decision to appoint the leader of the Tourism Information Center under the Administration.

On the morning of October 7, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism held a ceremony to announce and award the Decision on personnel work to the leaders of the Tourism Information Center after merging Tourism Magazine into the Tourism Information Center.

At the ceremony, Director of Vietnam National Tourism Administration Nguyen Trung Khanh awarded the appointment decision to 04 comrades, including:

1. Mr. Hoang Quoc Hoa was appointed to the position of Director of the Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

2. Mr. Nguyen Duc Xuyen was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

3. Ms. Phan Thi Thai Ha was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

4. Ms. Tran Thi Lan Anh was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

On behalf of the leadership of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, Director Nguyen Trung Khanh congratulated the comrades who were appointed to the leadership positions of the Tourism Information Center, and affirmed that this was a recognition and trust of the leadership of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration for the newly appointed comrades. Director Nguyen Trung Khanh emphasized that this was a task implemented according to the Resolution of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on streamlining and rearranging the organizational apparatus on the basis of merging the Tourism Magazine into the Tourism Information Center.

During the past time, the two units, the Tourism Information Center and the Tourism Magazine, have actively contributed to the overall development of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the tourism industry and have achieved many important achievements. Implementing the Resolution of the Party Executive Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, all officials and employees of the two units have strictly complied and promptly started implementing the merger procedures, while continuing to maintain regular work, political and professional tasks assigned by superior leaders, without interruption, meeting the requirements of the industry.

The Director acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the two units in coordination with related units to complete the procedural requirements as prescribed in the merger of the Tourism Magazine into the Tourism Information Center. With the strong leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the collective leadership of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration as well as the close coordination of the units, the merger was completed in accordance with the direction in the Resolution of the Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The leaders of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration requested that the newly appointed leaders of the Tourism Information Center continue to focus on completing documents and handling outstanding issues from the old unit; discuss and agree on the consolidation of the internal apparatus of the government, party, unions and organizational stability; immediately deploy work according to the new functions and tasks of the Tourism Information Center that have been approved and issued by the leaders of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration.

Director Nguyen Trung Khanh hopes that, with new functions, tasks, new staff, new resources, the Tourism Information Center will promote the spirit of solidarity and unity for the common goal, inherit the positive results achieved, strive to better complete the assigned political and professional tasks, and move towards enhancing the autonomy of a public service unit under the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

On behalf of the newly appointed leaders of the Tourism Information Center, Director Hoang Quoc Hoa respectfully thanked the leaders of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration for their attention, trust, and appreciation. Implementing the direction of the Party Committee and the leaders of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, in the past time, the collective of the two units has closely coordinated to complete the merger procedures according to regulations. The two units have also proactively exchanged and grasped the work to facilitate the implementation of tasks immediately after the merger is completed. In the coming time, the collective leadership of the Tourism Information Center will soon propose to improve the internal apparatus, stabilize the organization and operation of the unit, review, adjust, and promulgate operating regulations in accordance with regulations.

Director Hoang Quoc Hoa hopes that in the coming time, the Tourism Information Center will continue to receive the attention and close direction of the leaders of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the support and companionship of the departments and units under the Vietnam National Tourism Administration to complete the handling of outstanding issues and in all aspects of work to soon stabilize operations. All officers, civil servants and employees of the Tourism Information Center will promote the spirit of solidarity and unity to contribute more to the common development of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the whole industry.
