Let's act together to prevent more children from drowning.

On the morning of July 24th, the Department of Health, in coordination with the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK) organization, held a launching ceremony to commemorate World Drowning Prevention Day 2025. Attending the event were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Vinh The; and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Vinh The launched the drowning prevention and control movement, raising awareness in the community, and emphasized the need to equip students with necessary skills in drowning prevention; promoting the role and responsibility of all levels, sectors, families, schools, and the entire society in developing the swimming instruction movement for children; and continuing to build and expand the models of "Safe Home," "Safe School," and "Safe Community" to eliminate risks causing child drowning and ensure a safe environment for children.

The launching ceremony for World Drowning Prevention Day 2025, with the message "Act together so no more children drown," aims to call on the community to work together to create a safe environment for children.
