That is the meaning of the photo series "Big family in the old house of Ha Sung" by author Tran Tien Dat, sent to the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam". The photo series is a collection of his perspectives on the happy daily life of each person, each family in the old house of Ha Sung, in Ha Sung village, Lung Tao commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang .

What is special is that in this old house, the descendants of the Vu family still live in harmony with each other, even though they have been separated for 6-7 generations. The families are grandparents, young families, always happily gathering with their children and carrying the belief in a good life. Each household here still tries to preserve the values ​​of the house, together renovating and preserving what their ancestors left behind.

Ha Sung ancient house, located in Ha Sung village, Lung Tao commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang is an ancient house belonging to the Vu family, with a large, majestic architecture located deep in the mountain range, it appeared at the same time as the architecture of the Vuong family mansion in Sa Phin commune, and the locations of these two places are also very close to each other, it is even said that this house was built a while before.

The house has the same structure as most other traditional Mong houses, the only difference is that the living space of this ancient house has a very large total area, up to several hundred square meters. Currently, there are 4 families with more than ten people, descendants of the Vu family, still living in this space tinged with time. In this beautiful, ancient house, the life of the descendants of the Vu family will continue on the rocky plateau behind the gate of heaven.
