The "Decide Together - Discuss Together" competition

As part of the project "Improving the Economic Status of Ethnic Minority Women in Vietnam," on the evening of June 25th, at Hop Nhat village (Ban Bo commune, Tam... district)...

Representatives from the Provincial Women's Union, Ban Bo commune, and over 100 local residents attended.

Officials from the Provincial Women's Union and Ban Bo commune presented awards to representatives of the winning couples in the "Together We Decide - Together We Discuss" competition.

The competition attracted 25 married couples from Hop Nhat village (Ban Bo commune). Each team participated in two parts: team competition and husband-wife understanding competition. For the team competition, each team stood in two vertical lines at the starting line, men in one line, women in the other, forming pairs. Each couple took turns holding a ball with their stomachs to move it to the finish line and drop it into a basket. Each ball that went into the basket earned them one word from a pre-written message. For the husband-wife understanding competition, the couples were divided into rounds; in each round, each couple was assigned a number according to their turn.
Through this competition, the message "Husband and wife decide together, discuss together, overcome difficulties together, and share boundless love" is conveyed, helping men demonstrate understanding and support for women's participation in economic decision-making.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the "Together We Decide - Together We Discuss" competition awarded 29 first, second, third, and consolation prizes to the winning teams.
