The midfielder born in 1994 was registered with shirt number 11 and played as a domestic player because he has Vietnamese nationality.

The former U.16 Barca player shared with Thanh Nien Newspaper that he took the surname Do after manager Do Quang Hien, and preferred the word "Hoang" (at first, Hoang Hen planned to take the name Xuan Hen) because Hoang means "emperor" and the yellow color of success. Over the past time, he has also thoroughly studied Vietnamese culture, learned Vietnamese and can sing the national anthem, and communicate quite well in Vietnamese.
