HCM City Police Club strengthens quality foreign players
On August 26, the official fanpage of CA TP.HCM Club announced the successful recruitment of Australian midfielder Peter Markillos (born in 1995), with a record of playing football at U.18 Stoke, 3 K-League 2 clubs and most recently Macarthur Club in the Australian national championship.
Peter Markillos is a central midfielder with a long stride and an impressive height of 1.85 m. He is expected to help CA TP.HCM strengthen the midfield, which has many technical but small players.
When he was young, he had a 3-month trial at Barcelona's famous La Masia academy, and 6 years of training at Stoke's youth academy (England), showing good vision and tactics.

Peter Makrillos has knowledge of Asian football, with 3 times playing for Seoul E-Land FC (where Van Toan used to play), Chungbuk Cheongju and Suwon Samsung Bluewings in K-League 2, bringing the expectation of quickly integrating into the V-League.
Because V-League allows teams to add and replace foreign players in the first 3 rounds, Peter Makrillos will compete with center back Matheus, midfielder Endrik and strikers Utzig and Mbo Noel for 4 registered spots, 3 of which will play in the upcoming match against HAGL Club.
Determined to win HAGL
On the morning of August 26, the HCM City CA football team still went to the training field as usual, despite the heavy rain due to the impact of storm No. 5. Coach Le Huynh Duc and his team were very focused and determined to prepare to welcome the important opponent HAGL.

CA TP.HCM Club started off with a thrilling victory over Hanoi Club. But the loss to strong opponent The Cong Viettel in harsh weather conditions at Hang Day Stadium showed many things.
What CA TP.HCM Club lacks the most is time. While opponents have 2-3 months to prepare their physical foundation, perfect their players and test foreign players, Coach Le Huynh Duc only has 1 month to "run and line up" after transferring and changing most of the squad.
That's why the new recruit Utzig, who just transferred from Azerbaijan, had to drink water continuously in the extremely uncomfortable heat of Hanoi after only 2 training sessions. New recruit Peter Makrillos has also just arrived. Therefore, the only way for CA TP.HCM Club to improve everything is to practice and practice hard.
Hopefully with this spirit and the return to play at Thong Nhat Stadium, CA TP.HCM Club will confidently welcome and aim to win against HAGL - who caused many surprises with their spectacular transformation to hold Hanoi Club to a 0-0 draw at Hang Day Stadium in the previous round.
