Early in the morning, when the mist still covers the hillside, rows of high-tech greenhouses appear like crystal blocks in the middle of the green hill. Inside, thousands of chrysanthemums are blooming with vitality, filling the space with white. In the middle of that garden, a young girl named Nguyen Thi Bao Nhi (born 2001) is diligently checking each mist nozzle, each temperature sensor, meticulously examining each flower branch as if taking care of her own spiritual children.

Few people expect that in the middle of this difficult countryside, there is a flower growing area of several hectares, supplying hundreds of thousands of flower branches to provinces and cities and exporting to India, Korea and Japan. Behind that model is a small but determined young girl, who is turning her passion and knowledge into a brilliant reality every day in the mountains and forests of Dam Rong.
Born into a family attached to agriculture, Bao Nhi soon understood the hardships of her parents and fellow villagers and always struggled to find new directions for local crops. Her father, the Director of the Da K'Nang Agricultural Production Cooperative, was always struggling with new directions for agriculture in this difficult land.

In 2023, after graduating from the Plant Protection Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, instead of staying, Bao Nhi decided to return to her hometown and join her family in developing high-tech agriculture.
After a long time of producing vegetables and fruits using high technology, the Cooperative boldly started experimenting with growing chrysanthemums. Dam Rong 1 has a cool climate and good soil, suitable for growing flowers. Chrysanthemums were imported from Malaysia for tissue culture and experimental planting.

At first, things were not easy: the plant was difficult to adapt, susceptible to fungal diseases, and the investment cost was much higher than traditional chrysanthemums. But it was perseverance and systematic knowledge that helped the young girl gradually conquer this "difficult" flower.
Applying the knowledge she learned in farming, Bao Nhi has diligently researched and studied techniques to apply in farming. Thanks to the application of science and technology, irrigation technology, and automatic care, since taking over the family business, the young girl has helped increase the yield of flowers and vegetables by 30-40% compared to before.
"Chrysanthemum is a difficult plant to grow, and is expensive, so it requires care techniques and a high level of investment. After many failures, I gradually gained experience to help limit fungal diseases and produce large, round, high-quality flowers," said Bao Nhi.

Currently, the young girl is in charge of the technical, management and care of 5 hectares of greenhouses specializing in growing and propagating chrysanthemums, along with more than 10 hectares of tomatoes and bell peppers. After 4 months of planting, chrysanthemums can be supplied to the market in quantities of 250 - 300,000 branches/batch with prices ranging from 10 - 20,000 VND/branch.
Flowers are distributed throughout the provinces and cities and exported to many demanding markets. The model contributes to providing stable jobs for 50 local workers, with an income of about 7 million VND/person/month.
Pioneering in transforming crop structure and applying high technology to production, young girl Bao Nhi has contributed to opening a new direction in agricultural development in the locality. White chrysanthemums in difficult lands not only bring economic value, but also symbolize the determination and aspiration to rise up of today's rural youth generation, those who dare to think, dare to do, dare to return to sow hope in their homeland.

Mr. Pham Van Duong, Secretary of the Youth Union of Dam Rong 1 commune, commented: "Bao Nhi is a typical example of starting a business, establishing a career, daring to think, daring to do and knowing how to rise up with knowledge of the youth of Dam Rong 1. Not only is she a pioneer in applying high technology to production, bringing clear economic efficiency to her family and the locality, Bao Nhi is also always active in social work and volunteering."
Bao Nhi also regularly participates in the activities of the Youth Union, guides and supports local youth in farming techniques, and actively supports and organizes charitable activities in the area.
