The order of the subjects in the exam is as follows: Literature, foreign language, mathematics, specialized/integrated subject.
According to the grading committee, the distribution of scores in mathematics held several surprises. Specifically, the highest number of candidates scored 5 points, with 7,167 students; 49 students scored 10 points; 31 students scored 9.75 points; and 357 students scored 8.5 points...
Of the three subjects in the 10th grade entrance exam, mathematics has a lower average score than the other two. However, it is the subject that shows the clearest differentiation, meeting the requirements of the university entrance exam.
To support this observation, one examiner stated that, contrary to predictions of many low scores in mathematics, the score distribution this year was similar to the previous school year. For questions 7 and 8, many students were able to answer parts a and b correctly.
