Da Nang strives to export software to reach 161.8 million USD

The Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City has just announced that in 2023, the total revenue of the information and communications industry is estimated to reach 36,571 billion VND, an increase of 8.1% compared to 2022; software export turnover reached 147.8 million USD, reaching 101.25% of the plan, an increase of 12% compared to 2022.

Up to now, Da Nang has basic databases and about 100 specialized shared data; 400 Internet of Things devices providing real-time data; deploying the construction of DanangChain platform... In particular, the database of digital administrative procedure results not only helps people and businesses not to submit paper copies but also helps state agencies eliminate/reduce about 180 re-issued administrative procedures due to damage, loss...

In 2024, the Da Nang Information and Communications Industry proposed the theme "Popularizing digital infrastructure, creating digital applications to develop the digital economy - New driving force for economic growth and labor productivity". The entire industry strives for revenue to increase by 8.9% compared to 2023; software export revenue reaches 161.8 million USD.
