Hue University has 5 new associate professors under the age of 40.

Hue University has recently had 21 faculty members and 1 visiting lecturer recognized as meeting the standards for the title of associate professor, including 5 new associate professors under the age of 40.

On December 3rd, Hue University held a ceremony to announce the decision and award certificates to 22 teachers and visiting lecturers who met the standards for the title of Associate Professor in 2024.

Notably, in this year's professor and associate professor title recognition ceremony, Hue University had 5 educators recognized as associate professors before the age of 40.

These newly appointed young associate professors include: Professor Trung Hieu (37 years old, Department of Chemistry, University of Science ); Professor Tran Viet Long (38 years old, Head of Training Department, University of Law); Professor Dinh Quy Huong (38 years old, Department of Chemistry, University of Education); Professor Le Van Hoa (39 years old, Head of Department of Event Management and Communication Technology, University of Tourism); and Professor Nguyen Thanh Tung (39 years old, Department of Basic Sciences, University of Medicine and Pharmacy).

On this occasion, the Director of Hue University also presented certificates of merit to 5 newly appointed associate professors under the age of 40.

Speaking on behalf of the 22 newly appointed associate professors of Hue University at the announcement ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vice Rector of the University of Education, Hue University, shared his feelings of pride, responsibility, and dedication.

Mr. Hung is proud of his achievements today, having grown up in the environment of Hue University. After achieving the title of associate professor, he also recognizes his responsibility in teaching.

This newly appointed associate professor believes that teaching methods need to change, focusing on the application of information technology. At the same time, they should participate in scientific research projects; lead in their respective fields and professions; and train and mentor the next generation of students within the university.

Ultimately, it's about dedication after achieving the title of associate professor.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vice Rector of the University of Education, Hue University, delivered a speech at the recognition ceremony.

"We will continue to dedicate ourselves to our field of training, building our unit to become increasingly developed, and even more significantly, to developing Hue University. And beyond that, we will contribute our efforts to making Hue University a national university in the future," said Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung.

In his congratulatory speech to the newly appointed associate professors, Associate Professor Dr. Le Anh Phuong, Director of Hue University, affirmed that Hue University will always create all conditions for educators to work well, have a good working environment, and develop their abilities. He also affirmed that Hue University will soon become a national university.
