Congress of the Party Branch for National Assembly Affairs and Citizen Petitions under the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Council

On the morning of April 4th, the Party Cell for National Assembly Affairs and Citizen Petitions under the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Council held its first Congress for the 2025-2027 term. Comrade Ly Thi Lan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the XV National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province, and Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Council, attended and directed the Congress.

The Party Branch for National Assembly Affairs and Citizen Petitions was established on February 28, 2025. Accordingly, the Branch has 10 members. The first Congress, for the term 2025-2027, had the theme: Promoting democracy, unity, discipline, and innovation to improve the quality of the Branch's activities. The majority of delegates agreed with the goals, targets, and tasks set forth, such as: Continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Branch; upholding the principles of Party building, promoting democracy and unity, building a clean and strong Branch, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation, and effectively performing the task of advising and serving the activities of National Assembly Deputies, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Council Deputies; the Party Committee; and the Office.

In her address to the Congress, Ly Thi Lan, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province, requested the Party Branch to continue to thoroughly disseminate the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, especially the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the Party Branch for the 2025-2027 term; improve the quality of political and ideological education, innovate the content, methods, and forms to create profound changes in the awareness and actions of each Party member; promote the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style in conjunction with the implementation of the Central Resolution on Party building and rectification, creating a strong ripple effect within the Party Branch and the agency; and strengthen inspection and supervision work...

The Congress also announced the Decision appointing the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Party Committee members of the National Assembly and Citizen Petition Affairs Branch under the Provincial People's Council Party Committee, term I, 2025-2027; and simultaneously voted to approve a number of targets and tasks for the new term.
