The 6th Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of September 28, at Hoa Ban Hall, Dien Bien Phu Cultural Exchange and Tourism Information Center, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism solemnly held the 6th Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030, with the participation of 66 outstanding delegates representing 137 cadres and members of the entire Union.

Attending the Congress were comrades: Nguyen Minh Phu - Party Committee Secretary, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Hoang Hiep - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Deputy Director of the Department; Tran Hai Ha - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department; and comrades in the Party Committee of the Department, representatives of the affiliated Party cells, leaders of the Department's departments and units, representatives of the Department's Veterans Association, former Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the grassroots Youth Union of all periods. On the side of Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union, there were comrade Lo Xuan Hanh - Deputy Secretary and representatives of the solidarity units of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Infantry Battalion 1 and Na Tau Prison Police.

The Standing Committee and the Department's Board of Directors presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

The Congress approved the political report, reviewed the 5th Executive Committee, listened to the presentations of union members and youth, and the guidance of superior leaders. The Congress elected the 6th Executive Committee, consisting of 9 comrades; Comrade Lo Manh Dung was elected to hold the position of Secretary, Comrade Lo Van Quang to hold the position of Deputy Secretary.

Entering the new term, the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed a direction to synchronously implement the revolutionary action programs of the Union by carrying out two movements "Striking for socio -economic development and protecting the Fatherland", "Accompanying young people to establish their careers", encouraging, motivating and creating all favorable conditions for union members and young people to practice and strive to improve their professional qualifications, actively participate in administrative reform. The Congress also proposed 10 targets, 4 specific tasks and 5 implementation solutions./.
