During the 2020-2025 term, despite facing many difficulties due to the complicated situation of the sea and islands, harsh weather, and prolonged epidemics, the Party Committee of Squadron 202 has promoted the spirit of solidarity, initiative, creativity, and successfully completed the assigned tasks. Notably, combat readiness (SSCD), level and quality of combat training, and the ability to coordinate patrols, inspections, control, and law enforcement at sea have been significantly improved.

The entire unit has organized more than 270 ships and boats to operate at sea, including 38 on duty for SSCĐ, patrolling, inspecting, controlling, and enforcing laws at sea; inspected and handled administrative violations of 220 vehicles operating at sea; during the implementation of the task, combined with propaganda, requested 444 foreign fishing vessels to leave Vietnamese waters.

At the same time, closely coordinate with functional forces to effectively handle violations of the law. Typically, the Fleet coordinated with functional agencies to inspect and handle violations of the Tuan Dung 25 ship, imposing a fine of over VND 114 million, confiscating over 2,000 tons of Ilmenite ore, and auctioning off assets to pay over VND 3.4 billion to the state budget. The unit also inspected and fined 2 fishing vessels for violating IUU regulations, imposing a fine of VND 477 million.

The coordination of search and rescue, helping people prevent natural disasters, mass mobilization, and military rear policies have been effectively implemented, contributing to spreading the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Coast Guard soldiers" in the hearts of the people.

At the same time, the Party Committee of the Fleet focused on improving the quality of Party cell activities, discipline, order, promoting grassroots democracy; strictly implementing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII, XIII), Directive 05 of the Politburo and emulation movements and campaigns in the entire force. The work of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline was carried out publicly and strictly. Thereby, maintaining solidarity and unity within the Party, consolidating the trust of cadres and soldiers in the leadership role of the Party organization.

Promoting the achievements, in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of Squadron 202 sets out a number of key tasks and directions for implementation.

In particular, focusing on key tasks such as: improving the quality of training and combat readiness; promoting law enforcement at sea, preventing IUU fishing; promoting the effectiveness of mass mobilization models; strengthening discipline, building a regular system; tightening financial, logistics and technical management; improving the quality of party activities and developing a contingent of cadres and party members with good courage, capacity and moral qualities.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee of the Fleet for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 7 members.
