17th Congress of the Hue City Party Committee

Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang noted that the Hue City Party Committee should focus on leading the implementation of Party building and the political system with new thinking, new vision, and new knowledge.

On the morning of October 3rd, the Hue City Party Committee held the opening ceremony of its 17th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term, with the theme: “Strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the strength of the entire people; accelerating innovation, mobilizing all resources, creating breakthroughs in socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security; building Hue City into a green, smart, and culturally rich city.”

In his address to the Congress, General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Public Security, commended the great results and achievements that the Party Committee, government, and people of Hue City have achieved during the past term.

At the same time, it should be noted that the Hue City Party Committee focuses on leading the implementation of Party building and the political system with new thinking, new vision, and new knowledge; continuing to effectively implement the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee on Party building and rectification, in conjunction with studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh .

The Political Report presented to the Congress affirmed that the economy maintained relatively strong growth, averaging 7.54% per year; the projected GRDP per capita in 2025 is 3,200 USD.

Hue continues to affirm its position and brand, becoming a major national center for culture, tourism, and specialized healthcare, as well as a center for education, training, and science and technology.
