Congress of Khanh Hoa Province Veteran Entrepreneurs Association, term 2023-2028

On September 29, in Nha Trang City, the Association of Veteran Entrepreneurs (VET) of Khanh Hoa province held the Congress for the 2023-2028 term. Attending and directing the congress were Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong - President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veteran Entrepreneurs Association. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Truong, Hero of Labor in the Renovation Period, Vice President of the Vietnam Veteran Entrepreneurs Association, and more than 100 delegates attended.

According to the report at the congress, the Khanh Hoa Province Veterans Entrepreneurs Association has so far gathered over 70 members in the whole province. In the past term, despite many difficulties, the Executive Committee and members always promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactive business, flexible transformation in difficult times... Enterprises and business establishments of the association members have also created jobs for thousands of regular and seasonal workers. The association has also coordinated with relevant units in the province to organize the "Rice ATM" program, helping people during the Covid-19 epidemic with a quantity of 150 tons, worth over 3 billion VND; coordinated with the Provincial Veterans Association to mobilize collectives and individuals inside and outside the association to organize gift packages to visit families of war invalids, martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, people with meritorious services, and poor households in the two districts of Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh on the occasion of the traditional New Year of War Invalids and Martyrs; and offered 1,950 gifts. and 100 tons of rice, with the amount of over 3 billion VND; mobilized veteran businessmen to build 5 gratitude houses for families with meritorious services and veterans in difficult circumstances with a total amount of about 600 million VND... Many members of the association actively produce, do business well and have many contributions to the work of solidarity with comrades such as war invalid Nguyen Van Dung, veteran Pham Van Doan, veteran Pham Thanh Van...

The Executive Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Veterans Entrepreneurs Association, term 2023-2028, was introduced at the congress.

Speaking at the congress, Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong congratulated, acknowledged and highly appreciated the activities of the Association of Veteran Entrepreneurs of Khanh Hoa province. Especially in the work of comradeship, the association has promoted the spirit of mutual love and affection, remembering the source of water when drinking. Members are active and creative in production and business, and at the same time take care of the charity activities of the association regularly, supporting in many ways the budget to organize visits and encourage war veterans in difficult circumstances; giving gifts to poor students. Overcoming difficulties, especially in mountainous districts; participating in the poverty reduction fund; Agent Orange victims fund.

The Congress elected 17 members to the Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 term; veteran Nguyen Xuan Thuy was elected President of the Association.

On this occasion, many members with outstanding achievements were awarded by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, the Vietnam Veterans Entrepreneurs Association, and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province.
