According to information from the Hanoi Department of Transport, the number of flooded areas on the Thang Long Boulevard service road has decreased, but there are still a few locations where water has not yet drained completely. To ensure traffic safety, the Hanoi Department of Transport continues to adjust the direction of travel for vehicles (including cars and motorbikes).

Specifically, the Department of Transport prohibits vehicles from traveling on the Thang Long Boulevard service road along the following routes: If traveling on the right side of the road, vehicles are prohibited from Km7+00 (entrance to the railway underpass intersection) to Km10+350 (exit to the An Khanh urban area intersection).
Vehicles are also restricted from Km20+00 (entrance to the Provincial Road 80 intersection) to Km28+300 (exit to the Lang - Hoa Lac High-Tech Park).
In case people travel against the traffic flow, the road will be closed from Km28+300 (entrance to the Lang - Hoa Lac High-Tech Park interchange) to Km20+00 (exit to Provincial Road 80).
Regarding traffic flow management, the Hanoi Department of Transport has restricted the maximum permitted speed to 60km/h for all vehicles traveling on the Thang Long Boulevard expressway at the following locations: Km7+00 - Km10+350 and Km20+00 - Km28+300 (right lane) and Km28+300 - Km20+00 (left lane).
During periods when the service road is flooded, the Hanoi Department of Transport still allows motorbikes and bicycles to travel in the emergency lane of the Thang Long Boulevard expressway, however, the maximum speed is limited to 40km/h.
The traffic diversion plan will be in effect from September 14th until further notice.
