General Trinh Van Quyet lit incense to pay tribute and commemorate the late General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.

At the private residence of the late General Secretary Le Kha Phieu's family and the memorial house of General Nguyen Chi Thanh, General Trinh Van Quyet and the delegation respectfully offered incense, expressing their profound respect and gratitude for the great sacrifices, contributions, and dedication of the predecessors to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the country, and the Army.

General Trinh Van Quyet listened to presentations about the artifacts and had cordial conversations with family members of the late General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.

Before the sacred spirits of General Secretary Le Kha Phieu and General Nguyen Chi Thanh, General Trinh Van Quyet and the members of the delegation pledged to study and emulate the shining examples of revolutionary ethics, unwavering loyalty to the country, and devotion to the people of these two revered predecessors; to continue striving and contributing to building the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army into an increasingly strong, developed, and comprehensively robust "exemplary and outstanding" force, a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnam People's Army, contributing to building a more prosperous and powerful nation.

General Trinh Van Quyet came to offer incense in commemoration of General Nguyen Chi Thanh, former Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, and chatted with the General's family members.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, General Trinh Van Quyet expressed his wish that the relatives of the late General Secretary Le Kha Phieu and General Nguyen Chi Thanh continue to follow their example, uphold family traditions, and strive for many achievements in their studies and work, and build happy families.

General Trinh Van Quyet expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the companionship, support, and active cooperation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association and the various levels of veterans' associations and members throughout the country.

During his visit to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, General Trinh Van Quyet expressed his sincere gratitude to the Central Committee and all levels of veterans' associations for their continuous support and close cooperation with the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, and other agencies and units throughout the army in effectively organizing activities in many fields, especially in policy work and education on history and traditions.

General Trinh Van Quyet presents gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs.

General Trinh Van Quyet expressed his hope that in the coming time, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association will continue to pay attention to and cooperate with the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army in various activities; actively propagate and mobilize cadres and members to strictly adhere to the viewpoints and policies of all levels regarding military and national defense tasks; promote the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in their lives and activities, contributing to building warm and happy families and an increasingly civilized, prosperous and beautiful homeland.

Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, expressed gratitude for the affection and attention of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Political Department, and General Trinh Van Quyet personally.

On behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association, respectfully thanked the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Political Department, and especially General Trinh Van Quyet for their attention, coordination, and assistance over the years. He also affirmed that in the coming time, the Central Committee and all levels of the association and its members will continue to uphold and promote the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era, joining forces with the entire Party, people, and army to successfully complete the two strategic tasks of building and firmly defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.

General Trinh Van Quyet chatted with, inquired about the health of, and sent his best wishes to Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan, former Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army.

During his visit to Senior General Pham Thanh Ngan, General Trinh Van Quyet expressed his joy and best wishes for the former Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army to always be healthy, live long, and have a happy and prosperous family. In a cordial atmosphere, General Trinh Van Quyet briefly informed Senior General Pham Thanh Ngan about the outstanding achievements in the performance of duties and activities of Party and political work of the entire army in the past period; and expressed his hope that Senior General Pham Thanh Ngan would continue to show interest and contribute more of his dedication and intellect to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the building of the Army, including the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army.

General Pham Thanh Ngan respectfully thanked the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the leaders of the General Political Department for their attention; and expressed his hope that in the coming time, the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army will continue to provide effective advice, assisting the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense in leading and directing the entire army to successfully carry out its tasks; building a clean and strong Party Committee of the Army in general, and the Party Committee of the General Political Department in particular, building the Vietnam People's Army to be increasingly regular, elite, and modern, and excellently fulfilling all assigned tasks.
