Traffic Police Captain returns 50 million VND to the person who lost it

On the morning of August 20, the Traffic Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police received an emotional thank you letter from Ms. Dinh Thanh Hang (born in 1997, residing in Vinh Diem Trung Urban Area, Tay Nha Trang Ward) expressing her deep gratitude to Captain Dao Van Quyet - an officer of the Examination Team of the Traffic Police Department, who picked up and returned the 50 million VND that Ms. Hang dropped on the road.

At the police station, Captain Dao Van Quyet returned the large amount of money that Ms. Hang had lost.

Previously, on the afternoon of August 14, while on patrol duty in the area of Le Thanh Phuong Street (West Nha Trang Ward), Captain Dao Van Quyet discovered a black plastic bag dropped on the street. Checking inside, he found an identification document bearing the name of Ms. Dinh Thanh Hang and a sum of cash of up to 50 million VND. With a sense of responsibility, Captain Quyet quickly verified the information based on the identification document and contacted Ms. Hang.

Immediately after receiving the notice, Ms. Hang went to the Traffic Police Department to receive all of her property. Moved by Captain Quyet's dedicated and honest actions, Ms. Hang wrote a thank you letter, expressing her appreciation for the "Serving the People" spirit of the Traffic Police force. She wrote: "I am truly touched and grateful for the enthusiastic support of Captain Dao Van Quyet and the Traffic Police force of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police. This action not only helped me get my property back but also strengthened my belief in the good things in life."
