The Chairman of Dak Lak province, Mr. Do Huu Huy, recently chaired a meeting to discuss solutions to accelerate the exploitation and handling of surplus land and buildings in the province.
At this meeting, Mr. Do Huu Huy requested that units and localities continue to comprehensively review public assets after the reorganization of administrative units; accelerate the process of handling and exploiting surplus land and buildings, ensuring efficient use and avoiding loss and waste.
The Chairman of Dak Lak province emphasized that the management of public assets and the handling of surplus houses and land are particularly important tasks, in order to seriously implement Prime Minister 's Directive No. 39/CĐ-TTg.

The handling of surplus houses and land after restructuring must be completed definitively in the second quarter of 2026, in accordance with the directives of the Central Government and the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch. Units and localities must report monthly on asset changes such as new acquisitions, auctions, and leases; clarifying the percentage of assets put into actual use…
According to the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance, the total number of office buildings in the province after the restructuring and merger is 4,061. Of these, 3,533 facilities will continue to be retained for use.
A total of 602 surplus properties (houses and land) have been identified; the province has completed the approval of the disposal plans.
To date, Dak Lak province has 727 properties (houses and land) that have been transferred to local authorities for management, processing, and exploitation. Of these, 116 properties have been transferred to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for management and exploitation; and 611 properties have been assigned to communes and wards for management and processing.
