Recently, videos showing foreign tourists in Vietnam experiencing life as farmers, such as planting rice and plowing fields in Sa Pa, raking rice and bathing buffaloes in Ninh Binh, and picking coffee in the Central Highlands, have gone viral on social media.

Recently, a tourist attracted 2.5 million views on TikTok and 4.2 million views on Instagram with a video of her experiencing duck herding in Phong Nha. She said she spent $4 (approximately 100,000 VND) to be the "leader of the duck flock".

"I didn't expect my video to be so popular on social media. It was a wonderful experience during my trip to Phong Nha."

"The locals showed me how to feed the ducks, I tried my hand at being a duck herder and enjoyed the local dishes," shared Tina (24 years old, a student) - a Norwegian tourist.

Under Tina's video, many foreign tourists excitedly asked for the address where she experienced duck farming or the company that provided this tour .

Tina said she was traveling independently, not on a tour. "I drove to a village in Phong Nha. I told the locals I wanted to try raising ducks, and they let me do that interesting thing," the tourist said.

Some people think that paying 100,000 dong for a few minutes of duck herding is "expensive." However, Tina feels it's worth it.

"It's not every place I get to do something so 'interesting'. This might be normal for the locals, but it's new and fascinating for someone from afar like me," said the Norwegian tourist.

Tina "spent all her savings" to embark on a 6-month journey exploring Southeast Asia. During that time, she spent 40 days traveling throughout Vietnam, from North to South: Hanoi, Ha Giang, Ninh Binh, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City...

"I've seen many pictures of Vietnam and always dreamed of seeing it in person. Vietnam is the country I most want to explore," Tina shared.

Regarding scenery, Tina particularly loves Ha Giang. "This is the most breathtaking place I've ever seen in my life. I drove through the winding mountain passes and was overwhelmed by the majestic mountain views."

"I will never forget this place," the female tourist shared.

She also enjoyed hiking in Hang Mua (Ninh Binh) or rocking in a basket boat in the coconut forest of Hoi An (Quang Nam).

"Traveling in Vietnam is beautiful and interesting, but the prices are very cheap, especially compared to my country. Getting around in Vietnam is convenient; I can choose to travel by overnight bus or motorbike," Tina said.
