The fourth return of the oldest and most prestigious symphony orchestra in the United Kingdom demonstrates the organizers' persuasive power, the event's prestige, and affirms that Vietnam is gradually becoming a more familiar destination on the global classical music map. This year's highlight is the participation of Sir Antonio Pappano – the renowned conductor who has left his mark on many major stages in London, Rome, and New York. "This is my first time in Vietnam, and I have the opportunity to perform your national anthem with the London Orchestra, a piece that speaks of the challenges faced by people in war. I am truly excited to recreate the most beautiful and captivating rhythm of the marching army and to create the most heroic and powerful version of your national anthem," Sir Antonio Pappano shared at the press conference.
VACC is a program within the "Touching Hanoi" series of activities jointly organized by Vietnam Airlines and the Hanoi People's Committee. Notably, the performance on the evening of October 11th will be broadcast live on a large screen on the Ho Guom pedestrian street, allowing residents and tourists to enjoy it together.
