On December 13th, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province announced that it had approved the plan to organize the Quang Tri Countdown 2025 program on the evening of December 31st, 2024 at the Provincial Cultural and Film Center.

Regarding the content, the Provincial People's Committee agreed on the program's theme, while emphasizing the need to infuse the spirit of the people and homeland of Quang Tri and the Vietnamese national spirit; and to incorporate the promotion of traffic safety culture: "If you have drunk alcohol, do not drive."
The program is scheduled to be broadcast live on television starting at 9:30 PM on December 31st.

The New Year's Eve 2025 program, held on the evening of December 31st, was themed "A New Year of Courage"; it consisted of two parts: the ceremonial part themed "Unleashing Courage," and the festive part themed "Unlimited Courage."
The artists will participate in the program.
The organizers stated that the New Year's Eve 2025 program features a modern stage, sound, and lighting system, utilizing AI technology, and includes performances by many young artists and bands such as Dan Truong, Chau Khai Phong, Dat Long Vinh, Ha Myo, Pham Lich, Minh Thi, rapper Sona, Mario Band, Camel Dance Troupe, etc., with spectacular performances themed around homeland and country, celebrating the new vitality of Quang Tri province. In addition, the program will include a low-altitude fireworks display to welcome the new year.
