Comrade Pham Nhu Chinh, Secretary of the Dong Binh Cach Village Party Branch, said: The village has 529 households with over 1,580 inhabitants. Implementing the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement, the Party Branch focuses on improving leadership capacity, consolidating the role of the Party Committee, Party organizations, the Village Front Committee, and political and social organizations, and promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and Party members in carrying out political tasks. For example, in the construction of the village's infrastructure, each cadre and Party member demonstrates a pioneering and exemplary spirit, actively mobilizing their children and grandchildren, as well as the people in the residential area, to contribute labor and resources to build roads and other welfare facilities. Many Party members have donated land, labor, and money to implement the movement.
Thanks to the exemplary actions of the village officials and Party members, the people unanimously contributed labor and resources to complete nearly 10km of roads in the residential area. Currently, the entire road system in the village has been concreted, the village roads and alleys are always clean and beautiful, and most routes are easily accessible by car, much to the delight of the people. In addition, the village Party committee and officials also mobilized the people to invest in the construction of a public lighting system using socialized capital, contributing to ensuring security, order, and traffic safety in the residential area; contributing over 200 million VND to build two sports fields in two residential areas; and donating land and money to build an agricultural product collection area, creating favorable conditions for traders to come and purchase agricultural products from the people.
In agricultural production, the village focuses on directing, propagating, and mobilizing the people to strengthen the internal irrigation and transportation systems, as well as main roads to facilitate travel; strictly adhering to the planting schedule; promoting mechanization in production; implementing land consolidation; actively engaging in production, and transforming the structure of crops and livestock to increase income. Thanks to the encouragement, support, and assistance of the Party committee and local leaders, Ms. Le Thi Thuy's family boldly leased nearly 1 hectare of low-yield rice land to convert it into a VAC (Vietnamese acronym for garden, pond, and livestock) model, with half the area used for fish farming, one for raising chickens, and the other for planting over 400 acacia trees. Each year, after deducting expenses, Ms. Thuy's family earns a profit of over 300 million VND.
The village still has many successful farm and household-based agricultural models, primarily focused on pig farming. In addition, the village has a thriving vegetable and winter crop sector, with the largest area in the commune, approximately 55 hectares, mainly dedicated to pumpkins and squash. Many households earn hundreds of millions of dong per crop, making winter crops a primary source of income for many families. Mr. Vu Dang Nhiem stated: "Besides 3 sao (approximately 0.3 hectares) of pumpkins and 4 sao (approximately 0.4 hectares) of cucumbers, my family also grows over 1 hectare of onions for bulbs during the winter, generating an income of about 200 million dong annually. This has been our main source of income for many years. Thanks to this, our family's living standards have steadily improved."
Furthermore, Dong Binh Cach village has developed a diverse range of industries, from trade and services to handicraft production, mechanics, and construction. The average income of villagers is approximately 75 million VND per person per year. The poverty rate in the village is currently 1.3%. The number of wealthy and well-off households in the village is constantly increasing, with most families owning solid houses and purchasing modern amenities. Cultural, artistic, and sports activities are thriving in the village. Thanks to regular dissemination of information and mobilization of the people to effectively implement the village's regulations and customs, and to live and work in accordance with the law, the people are always conscious of complying with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws. Political security and social order are maintained. Every year, over 90% of households in the village achieve the title of "Cultural Family"; the village has consistently achieved the title of "Cultural Village" for many years.
