Young Party members at the grassroots level

47 individuals were recently honored by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union as outstanding young Party members of 2026. These individuals represent the pioneering spirit and aspiration to contribute of the youth.

Ms. Tran Ngoc My, Secretary of the Youth Union Branch in Hamlet No. 8, Son Kien Commune, is a prominent example at the grassroots level. As a youth "leader," she is always proactive and creative in organizing movements such as Youth Month and the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. Through practical activities such as environmental sanitation campaigns, tree planting, legal awareness campaigns, and rural development initiatives, she has attracted a large number of Youth Union members and young people to participate, creating a positive ripple effect in the community.

Besides enthusiastically participating in the movement, Ms. My is also actively involved in social welfare work. From organizing gift-giving for families receiving government assistance and celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival for children to supporting the purchase of health insurance for disadvantaged children, she has contributed to spreading the spirit of sharing and social responsibility among young people. Ms. My shared: “My biggest concern is that many young people do not have stable jobs and have to leave their hometowns to make a living. I hope to find solutions to help them have sustainable livelihoods right here in the local area.”

With that aspiration in mind, and with the support of the Son Kien Commune Youth Union, she helped young people access loans from the Social Policy Bank and implement a goat farming model in Hamlet 14, with a capital of 100 million VND; subsequently, she continued to support young people in accessing capital to develop an eel farming model, opening up a suitable livelihood option for local youth. According to Mr. Ngo Quang Thanh - Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of Hamlet No. 8, Ms. Tran Ngoc My is a dynamic young Party member with many practical initiatives, making positive contributions to the Youth Union's work and the development of the locality. With her continuous efforts, she was awarded by the Son Kien Commune Party Committee for outstanding performance for five consecutive years (2021-2025).

Not only at the grassroots level, but also in various sectors and fields, young Party members are clearly demonstrating their pioneering role. Nguyen Minh Trang, Deputy Head of the Youth Committee of the Provincial Public Security Department, is a prime example. With a high sense of responsibility, he, along with the Youth Union at all levels and the local police force, has implemented many practical legal awareness activities, bringing legal knowledge closer to the people, especially young people. From 2025 to the present, Mr. Trang has advised on and organized hundreds of awareness campaigns, with tens of thousands of participants; distributed tens of thousands of leaflets and communication materials; and organized screenings of legal films and videos , attracting a large audience. The content of the campaigns focuses on practical issues such as drug prevention and control, traffic safety, fire prevention and control, cybersecurity, etc., contributing to raising awareness and compliance with the law in the community.

Notably, Mr. Trang also focuses on the work of rehabilitating and supporting delinquent youth, those who have completed their prison sentences, and drug addicts returning to their localities to reintegrate into the community. From there, he implemented the model "Improving the quality of legal education and dissemination among young people and rehabilitating delinquent youth in residential areas," which was recognized as a "Skilled People's Mobilization" model at the provincial level and received a commendation from the Ministry of Public Security for the period 2021-2025. "What I care about is that legal education is truly accessible, easy to understand, and practical, especially for young people. At the same time, accompanying and supporting young people who have made mistakes is a solution to maintaining security and order at the grassroots level," Mr. Trang shared.

According to Phan Duy Bang, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, each exemplary young Party member is not only a role model in self-improvement but also plays a core role in youth movements. Through concrete and practical actions, they have contributed to inspiring the will to strive, the spirit of emulation, and making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality. These exemplary young Party members of 2026 are not only a source of pride for the Youth Union but also a vivid testament to the youthful energy, intelligence, and dedication of today's youth – those who are contributing daily to building a more developed and prosperous homeland.
