Not only is Cua Tung blessed with a beautiful, pristine beach that attracts tourists, but the service system here is also transforming to better meet the needs for accommodation, dining , and beach activities. The presence of modern restaurants and hotels, along with convenience stores like Winmart and Bach Hoa Xanh, has breathed new life into the local commercial and service sector.

Simultaneously, the merger of four former administrative units (Cua Tung town, Vinh Giang commune, Hien Thanh commune, and Kim Thach commune) has created a new Cua Tung commune with a large scale in both population and area, opening up golden opportunities to better exploit the potential of the sea associated with agriculture and services.

According to Vo Duc Dien, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Tung Commune, hotels in the commune were fully booked during the April 30th and May 1st holidays this year. Notably, many tourists proactively booked rooms two months in advance to secure their preferred accommodations. In addition, homestay accommodations are also experiencing strong growth. This boom is the result of a proactive promotional strategy and the development of services while preserving the local cultural identity.

“To create a positive impression on tourists, Cua Tung commune facilitates investment and upgrading of facilities for accommodation and food services by restaurants, hotels, and businesses, especially in the Cua Tung beach area. The commune regularly disseminates information and requires businesses to publicly display prices, preventing price gouging; it also strengthens inspections and enforcement to ensure security and order, aiming to build a safe and friendly tourism environment for beachgoers in Cua Tung,” said Mr. Vo Duc Dien.

With the aim of making tourism a key economic sector in the 2026-2030 period, Cua Tung commune prioritizes investment in transportation infrastructure connecting the Cua Tung-Cua Viet-Con Co tourism triangle, linked to the system of special national historical relics of Hien Luong-Ben Hai, Vinh Moc Tunnels, and the Mui Treo and Ru Linh ecotourism areas to form a continuous tourism route. Leveraging its potential and advantages in combining historical and cultural tourism, ecotourism, and resort tourism, the locality focuses on attracting investment in trade and services, creating a strong transformation in economic development. It facilitates investment by organizations and individuals in building restaurants, hotels, rest stops, resorts, homestay accommodations, entertainment centers, and other tourism services to boost tourism growth.
