Assessing the current state of Vietnamese cinema, the director said the market is fierce, and the number of successful films can be counted on one hand. However, filmmakers should not be afraid or discouraged because of this.
As for him, before venturing into the seventh art, his family and friends all tried to dissuade him. Everyone advised him: "Vinh is doing well, why suddenly get the urge to make films and put in so much effort?" The director himself was also somewhat worried, unsure where this journey would lead.

"If I got discouraged and gave up every time I encountered difficulties, that wouldn't be me. Of course, not everything will be achieved as expected just by trying. But if we give up trying, we certainly won't know what the next achievement will be," the director added.
