Dao Xa experiences breakthrough development.

Following the reorganization of commune-level administrative units, Dao Xa commune was officially established by merging the entire administrative boundaries of four communes: Tan Phuong, Thach Dong, Xuan Loc, and the former Dao Xa. A new administrative unit was created with an area of ​​45.53 km2 and a population of over 30,500 people, comprising 43 residential areas. This not only represents a change in administrative boundaries but also highlights the urgent need for innovation in management models, streamlining the administrative apparatus, and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of local government operations.

Recognizing organizational stability as a top priority, the commune government quickly streamlined its structure, issued working regulations, and assigned specific tasks to each member of the People's Committee and specialized departments according to the principle of "one task - one point of contact - one person responsible." This approach has overcome the overlapping and shirking of responsibility after the merger, while creating clarity and transparency in administration. Simultaneously, the citizen reception system has been maintained rigorously; all feedback and suggestions from the people are received and processed promptly and in accordance with regulations.

Developing OCOP products is one of the important directions for increasing income for people in Dao Xa commune.

Administrative reform and digital transformation have been accelerated. The commune's Public Administrative Service Center has been strengthened and comprehensively invested in, ensuring smooth operation. 100% of documents are processed electronically; 99.4% of applications are received online, and there are no delayed applications. In the context of a newly established government with a still-developing apparatus, these figures not only reflect the effectiveness of administrative reform but also demonstrate the flexible and decisive organizational and operational capacity of the local government.

2025 was also a year with many unfavorable factors impacting production and people's lives. However, with close guidance, agricultural production still met and exceeded the plan. The total planted area reached over 1,520 hectares, with a food production of nearly 7,400 tons; the average product value per hectare of cultivated land reached approximately 135 million VND. These results affirm the proactive role of the local government in managing and preventing objective difficulties from slowing down the pace of development.

Besides maintaining its agricultural "pillar," Dao Xa commune has also proactively exploited resources to promote the development of industry, handicrafts, and trade and services. Total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at 72.2 billion VND, equivalent to 228.77% of the annual plan; total social investment reached 355 billion VND; and average per capita income reached 60.5 million VND/year. For a newly established commune with a recently reorganized administrative structure, these figures demonstrate the decisiveness, boldness, and resource mobilization of the local leadership team.

In the socio-cultural field, many positive results have been recorded. The multidimensional poverty rate has decreased to 1.51%; the rate of people participating in health insurance has reached 95%. National defense and security have been maintained; security and order teams and neighborhood self-governance groups operate effectively, and emerging incidents are handled promptly, preventing the formation of complex hotspots. Given the large geographical area and dense population after the merger, maintaining political and social stability further demonstrates the thoroughness and responsibility of the local government in its management and administration.

The achievements in 2025 demonstrate that, alongside the unity of the leadership team, the leadership role of the head of the organization is crucial in creating stability and positive change. From reorganizing the administrative apparatus and ensuring smooth operation to directing production, responding to natural disasters, boosting revenue collection, caring for social welfare, and promoting digital transformation, the commune government has consistently demonstrated a high sense of responsibility and decisiveness in handling work, placing the interests of the people above all else. These important results are not only the achievements of a year of work but also create a solid foundation for the next stage of development.

Entering 2026, the first year of implementing the socio -economic development plan for the 2026-2030 period, Dao Xa commune aims for an average total income of 62 million VND/person/year; state budget revenue in the area reaching 67 billion VND; and total social investment reaching 415 billion VND...

Comrade Nguyen Van Ky, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dao Xa commune, said: "To achieve this goal, the commune focuses on promoting the synchronized development of agriculture, industry - handicrafts, trade - services, and investment. In the agricultural sector, the locality strengthens production guidance, strictly manages agricultural inputs, and controls diseases in crops and livestock to improve productivity and food production. It supports businesses and production facilities in developing industry - handicrafts, expanding traditional craft villages, and promoting trade, services, and e-commerce. Along with that, the commune focuses on accelerating the progress of investment projects, improving the efficiency of public investment disbursement, completing the rural transportation infrastructure system, and creating favorable conditions to attract investment. At the same time, it strictly manages the budget, effectively exploits revenue sources, promotes credit for production and business, contributing to increasing people's income and sustainable socio-economic development."

From a stable organizational foundation to breakthroughs in socio-economic development, Dao Xa commune is gradually asserting its position as a dynamic and innovative locality. With the determination of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, Dao Xa has every reason to continue its strong development in the new phase.
