In 2023, the total enrollment target for 4 IT-specialized 10th grade classes in Hanoi is 140, with 1,196 candidates registering for the exam. The highest competition rate is for the IT-specialized 10th grade class at Chu Van An High School - 1/11.09, meaning that on average, for every 11 students taking the exam, one will be admitted. Next is the competition rate for the IT-specialized 10th grade class at Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted (1/10.17), Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted (1/9.03), and finally Son Tay High School for the Gifted (1/3.89).
