According to Mr. Trinh Hang, Director of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, by the end of September 2nd, the total number of tourists visiting, relaxing, and staying at hotels, resorts, and beaches in the province reached approximately 207,000, an increase of 13.72% compared to the same period in 2023; revenue reached approximately 123.543 billion VND, an increase of 16.56% compared to the same period in 2023.
The management boards of tourist areas in districts and cities regularly inspect and supervise the maintenance of environmental hygiene at tourist areas and attractions, ensuring that beaches are clean, beautiful, and well-ventilated.
The beach area is relatively clean, and tourist areas are equipped with sufficient small trash cans at the beach and chair clusters for visitors to dispose of their waste. Waste is promptly collected and transported away, preventing any accumulation.
