On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), Dong Nai Newspaper recorded comments on the quality as well as expectations for the development of Dong Nai Newspaper in the coming time.
Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Luu Thi Ha:
Continue to be a bridge between the Party's will, the people's will and community cohesion
Faced with the rapid changes of modern media, the public's needs and habits of accessing information have also changed. To maintain its position, I think Dong Nai Newspaper needs to continue to innovate more strongly. In terms of content, the newspaper needs to increase its reflection of people's lives at the grassroots level, inspirational stories, good people and good deeds. Things that seem small, but are close, realistic, and easily touch the hearts of readers, especially the young - a very potential readership today.
I hope that Dong Nai Newspaper will continue to invest in multimedia journalism, exploiting digital platforms to create press products that are both in-depth and easy to access and spread in the online community. The newspaper needs to further promote its role as the main press agency, the official information center of the province, in leading public opinion, orienting ideology, creating social consensus, especially on issues with many conflicting opinions.
Director of Departmentof Education and Training Truong Thi Kim Hue:
Press accompanies, for educational development
Over the years, Dong Nai Newspaper has always accompanied the education and training sector of Dong Nai, thereby creating consensus and sharing of parents and the whole society with the activities of the education sector. We hope to continue to receive more support from the press in the cause of fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, continuing to contribute to improving people's knowledge, training human resources, discovering and nurturing talents. This is also a common task, together building and developing a high-quality workforce to serve the development needs of the province in the new period, the period when Dong Nai and the whole country enter a new era.
In the coming time, Dong Nai Newspaper and the Provincial Fatherland Front will strengthen propaganda on campaigns, Patriotic Emulation Movements, social supervision and criticism activities, as well as activities for community security, building the great national unity bloc. Establish a mechanism for periodic information sharing between the two agencies, especially in important political , cultural and social events of the province to unify propaganda content, ensure orientation, timeliness and effectiveness...
Director of Department of Science and Technology Ta Quang Truong:
Promoting multimedia journalism and applying new technology
In recent times, Dong Nai Newspaper has made remarkable progress, clearly demonstrating its role as the province’s leading press agency. Many in-depth articles, reflecting multi-dimensional hot issues, have attracted readers’ attention.
In order for Dong Nai Newspaper to continue to be attractive, appealing to readers and leave an impression on the public, the newspaper needs to focus on promoting multimedia journalism and applying new technologies. In the digital age, readers want to receive information not only through written words, but also through images, videos, infographics, podcasts, etc. Dong Nai Newspaper needs to invest more in producing high-quality multimedia journalism products, increasing interaction with readers on digital platforms. At the same time, the newspaper should also pioneer in researching and testing new technologies such as AI (artificial intelligence) in supporting content production (e.g. news summaries, headline generation, translation), analyzing reader data to personalize content, or even creating more interactive journalism experiences.
In the context of information explosion, readers not only need news, but also need in-depth explanations and analysis of issues. Newspapers need to increase in-depth articles, investigations, and commentary. In addition, newspapers also need to focus on promoting Dong Nai's unique identity. Dong Nai Newspaper is not only a place to report news, but also a place to preserve and spread the cultural, historical, and human values of Dong Nai to readers inside and outside the province.
Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan:
There must be a strong shift towards digital transformation.
In the current period of scientific and technological development, with the achievements of the 4.0 revolution, especially artificial intelligence, the applications of digital technology are posing many new problems in the operations of traditional press, creating many opportunities and posing many challenges that traditional press needs to solve in order to adapt flexibly and continue to develop.
From the above reality, the press in general and Dong Nai Newspaper in particular need to have a strong shift in digital transformation, in which, shifting from traditional press to digital press, focusing on readers, providing information that is both broad and deep.
To do that, Dong Nai Newspaper needs to improve the quality of information content and "shift from quantity to quality". In particular, focus on local issues, events, and stories; analyze causes and consequences, and provide multi-dimensional perspectives on hot issues of the province, especially issues close to people's lives. In addition, continue to maintain and diversify digital press platforms such as: print newspapers, electronic newspapers, social networks, online videos, etc. This helps maximize public access to different ages, habits, and information consumption situations.
On the other hand, Dong Nai Newspaper needs to increase connection and interaction with readers through creating groups and online forums so that readers can exchange and discuss issues of interest.
Specialist Doctor II Le Quang Trung, Director of Department of Health:
Promote propaganda about good people and good deeds in the health sector
In recent times, the Dong Nai health sector has always received special attention from press agencies, including Dong Nai Newspaper. Information related to the activities of the health sector, especially disease prevention measures, is reported promptly, accurately and truthfully by Dong Nai Newspaper. From there, people proactively join hands with the health sector to effectively implement disease prevention and health care measures.
Currently, the Department of Health and medical facilities in the province are continuing to closely coordinate with press and radio agencies in the province to carry out communication and health education activities. The Department of Health hopes to continue to receive the support of press agencies in the province as well as central newspapers located in the area. The press will promote the dissemination of good examples of good people, good deeds in the health sector, and good practices of medical facilities to spread and expand further. Thereby contributing to the health sector in implementing well the targets and tasks in the work of protecting, caring for and improving the health of people in the area.
