Many dynamic projects and works
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang city and major holidays in 2025, a series of projects have been started and inaugurated in the city. Specifically, the opening of Quang Da bridge and the approach road (connecting Da Nang - Quang Nam); the groundbreaking of Thuan Phuoc new urban area; the inauguration of Da Nang Museum (42 Bach Dang); the completion of social housing for people with meritorious services on Vu Mong Nguyen street; the renovation and upgrading of March 29 Park with a budget of nearly 673 billion VND.
In addition, the following projects were implemented: upgrading, renovating, repairing historical and cultural relics, relics, and works to register martyrs; renovating and upgrading Hoang Du Khuong Primary School; renovating the drainage system and underground information and lighting systems on 4 inner-city roads (Phan Chau Trinh, Le Loi, Hoang Dieu and Ong Ich Khiem); the project to upgrade and renovate March 29 Park, with an investment capital of more than 673 billion VND; the project to upgrade and renovate Ngu Hanh Son District Medical Center; starting construction of the Uncle Ho statue at the Da Nang General Science Library...
Ms. Pham Thi Thu Van (My An Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District) shared: “I am very happy to see the city investing in meaningful projects such as the new museum, housing for meritorious people, renovating old parks... making people feel proud and confident in the future of Da Nang”. Mr. Pham Hao, a driver, said: “The upgraded and expanded roads help me work more conveniently. The Quang Da Bridge put into use not only helps to travel quickly but also opens up more favorable trade opportunities between Da Nang and Quang Nam ”.
Building a civilized and modern city
In the coming time, the city is expected to start many large projects such as: Asia Park and International Fireworks Complex; FPT Expansion Project; Viettel Information Technology Park; Digital Creative Space Complex... In addition, the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway section will be put into operation, and the Tuy Loan expressway interchange will be started. Meanwhile, large projects such as the Lien Chieu port connecting road; Lien Chieu port - shared infrastructure; Upgrading and renovating National Highway 14B through the city... are also being accelerated.
Recently, on June 24, the City People's Committee approved the investment policy for the project to improve the Le Thanh Nghi - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Thang Long traffic intersection - the road leading to Hoa Xuan bridge with a total investment of more than 1,571 billion VND from the city budget, the implementation period is from 2025-2029 and divided into two component projects. Regarding the scale of the project, it includes maintaining the status quo of Hoa Xuan bridge, building and expanding a new bridge branch downstream of the old bridge, considering architectural options in the next steps.
At the intersection cluster on the Hoa Cuong ward side, arrange underpasses on Cach Mang Thang Tam and Thang Long routes, with service roads on both sides, arrange tunnels on Thang Long route and service roads on both sides of the tunnel. Expand Le Thanh Nghi street towards the park land (from Le No street to the beginning of Hoa Xuan bridge), expand Do Xu bridge towards Khue Trung lake, arrange a right turn from Le Thanh Nghi street to Cach Mang Thang Tam on the bank of Khue Trung lake.
At the intersection cluster in Hoa Xuan ward, invest in the riverside road under Hoa Xuan bridge, connecting Giang Huong 1 street to Ton That Duong Ky street; reorganize traffic within the intersection. The project will also relocate and build new technical infrastructure systems: water supply - drainage, lighting, 110kV, 22kV, 0.4kV power lines, wastewater drainage, communication system... The project's goal is to complete the traffic infrastructure according to the planning orientation, synchronously connect the technical infrastructure system in the area, promote socio-economic development.
At the same time, it will solve traffic congestion in the cluster area, improve traffic capacity and safety when traveling through the cluster... The projects will create a new look for the city, improve the quality of life, promote tourism, investment and socio-economic development of the city. Thereby, synchronously deploy and complete the modern, civilized urban area, expand the scale of infrastructure development, technology, and logistics to become the economic locomotive of the region.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vingroup, shared at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project: “We determined that developing Lang Van is not simply building a resort destination, but also a journey to create a new symbol, where people live in harmony with nature in a modern and sustainable environment.
The project will be systematically planned according to a multi-functional model, with reasonable construction density, prioritizing the preservation of natural landscapes, honoring indigenous beauty and creating an ideal, classy living space. When completed, Lang Van Tourism and Resort Urban Complex will be a "resort paradise" and a true place to live for local people and domestic and foreign tourists. Lang Van Tourism and Resort Urban Complex is expected to complete and put into operation the first components from 2027, contributing to activating the economic potential of the region, opening up resort tourism, trade and logistics activities.
With a vibrant competitive spirit, Da Nang is gradually affirming its position as a livable, smart and unique city in the Central region and the whole country. From the inauguration of museums, social housing, martyrs' cemeteries, to the renovation of roads, parks, bridges and large-scale tourism and information technology projects... all bear a deep mark of the development process and aspirations for the future, contributing to the strong development of Da Nang, becoming a growth pole of the country.
