Accordingly, seven mining areas will be auctioned for mineral exploitation rights, including four stone quarry areas: Tam Lap construction stone quarry (Tam Lap commune, Phu Giao district), with an area of 29.15 hectares; Thuong Tan 7-zone II construction stone quarry (Thuong Tan commune, Bac Tan Uyen district), with an area of 25 hectares; construction stone quarry in Tam Lap commune, Phu Giao district, with an area of 19.55 hectares; and Phuoc Vinh construction stone quarry, Phu Giao district, with an area of 10 hectares.
Along with 3 construction sand mines in Dau Tieng Lake, Dau Tieng District, there are the following: Suoi Chinh No. 1-1 sand mine, with an area of 20.61 hectares; Suoi Chinh No. 2 construction sand mine, with an area of 20 hectares; and Suoi Chinh No. 5-2 construction sand mine, with an area of 19.73 hectares.

The People's Committee of Binh Duong province has assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to develop a plan and method for auctioning mineral exploitation rights, submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval, and implement the subsequent procedures in accordance with regulations. For mines where exploration results have been obtained, the winning bidder is responsible for reimbursing the exploration costs to the exploration units in accordance with the law on minerals. Other contents of Decision No. 2497/QD-UBND dated September 26, 2016, of the Provincial People's Committee that do not contradict this decision remain legally valid.

Currently, Binh Duong province has more than 30 mines licensed for the exploitation and exploration of construction materials, covering a total area of over 1,000 hectares and with approved reserves of over 700 million cubic meters.
The construction material quarries in the province are mainly concentrated in Bac Tan Uyen and Phu Giao districts; sand quarries are mainly concentrated in Dau Tieng district.
