Auction of 7 mineral mining areas

Accordingly, 7 mining areas will auction mineral exploitation rights, including 4 stone quarry areas: Tam Lap construction stone quarry (Tam Lap commune, Phu Giao district), with an area of 29.15 hectares; Thuong Tan 7 construction stone quarry - zone II (Thuong Tan commune, Bac Tan Uyen district), with an area of 25 hectares; construction stone quarry in Tam Lap commune, Phu Giao district, with an area of 19.55 hectares; Phuoc Vinh construction stone quarry, Phu Giao district, with an area of 10 hectares.

Along with 3 sand mines built in Dau Tieng Lake in Dau Tieng district are sand mine Suoi Ngan No. 1-1, with an area of 20.61 ha; sand mine to build stream branch No. 2, with an area of 20 ha and sand mine to build stream branch No. 5-2, with an area of 19.73 ha.

The People's Committee of Binh Duong province assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to develop an auction plan and a plan for auctioning mineral exploitation rights, submit it to the People's Committee for approval and implement the following procedures in accordance with regulations. For mines that have had exploration results, the winning bidder is responsible for refunding the exploration costs to the units that have explored according to the provisions of the law on minerals. Other contents in Decision No. 2497/QD-UBND dated September 26, 2016 of the People's Committee of the province that are not contrary to this decision are still legally valid.

For mines with exploration results, the winning bidder is responsible for reimbursing exploration costs to the exploration units according to the provisions of the law on minerals.

Currently, in Binh Duong province, there are more than 30 mines licensed to exploit and explore construction stone materials with a total area of more than 1,000 hectares and approved reserves of more than 700 million m3.

In which, construction material quarries in the province are mainly concentrated in Bac Tan Uyen and Phu Giao districts; sand quarries are mainly concentrated in Dau Tieng district.
