Investing in integrated rural infrastructure

In building new rural areas, localities throughout the city are focusing on investing in the comprehensive development of rural infrastructure. In particular, localities prioritize investment in rural transportation infrastructure, clean water supply, and electricity systems to serve the daily lives and production activities of farmers.

In addition, the school system at all levels, including preschool, primary, and secondary schools in rural areas, has been strengthened and upgraded. To date, 70.65% of public preschools and general education schools in the city meet national standards.

Healthcare services are constantly improving. The system of commune and ward health stations continues to develop in terms of infrastructure and numbers, and the professional qualifications of doctors and medical staff are being enhanced. 100% of communes in Dong Nai province have health stations, some of which have been upgraded to multi-specialty clinics and regional health centers. 58% of communes have health stations that meet national health standards. In addition to commune health stations, rural areas also have other medical facilities such as hospitals, health centers, multi-specialty or specialized clinics, and traditional medicine clinics.
