According to the latest information published by AppleInsider and Bloomberg , Apple is preparing a historic overhaul of its Siri virtual assistant in the upcoming iOS 27 update.

Since the announcement of Apple Intelligence's strategy, the overhaul of Siri has faced a series of disappointing delays, leaving the current version unable to meet the high expectations that Apple had promised to the public. However, the emergence of a project codenamed Campo promises to completely change that situation.

The biggest and most noticeable change is the revamped interface. In the new version, Siri's interface will be similar to leading AI-generated chatbots such as ChatGPT or Claude.

Specifically, users will have a separate interactive space, displayed as a message thread similar to the original Messages app, with chat bubbles and a clear text input field.

This design not only visualizes the dialogue but also allows users to save context, review chat history, and continue unfinished conversations at a later time.

Additionally, the platform will integrate a convenient toggle switch, allowing users to seamlessly switch between voice command and text input modes depending on the situation.

In addition, Apple plans to definitively resolve the "contextual disconnect" issue of the previous version by granting Siri permission to conduct in-depth analysis of users' personal data on the device.

Accordingly, the new version of Siri will be able to automatically read and understand emails, scan messages, and piece together personal facts to provide the most accurate and personalized answers possible.

The new Siri update is expected to be unveiled at the WWDC 2026 developer conference, which takes place from June 8th (local time), or early morning of June 9th (Vietnam time). At the opening event, Apple is expected to launch iOS 27, macOS 27, and a range of other software.
